Donate to Orchard House
The Orchard House Medical Adult Day Center is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization that has been providing licensed MEDICAL adult day care services to the Shoreline community since 1981. Donations made to Orchard House are tax-deductible and can be made by cash, check, or credit card [Orchard House tax ID number is 06-1044110]. Donations will be acknowledged with a thank you letter and receipt for tax purposes.
We also receive memorial donations to honor the memory of a loved one who has passed away, in honor of birthdays or anniversaries, or to support a member in need. We appreciate all donations, no matter the size, for it helps fund daily activities, activity packets, transportation, warm meals, field trips, and cleaning supplies. In-kind donations are also accepted.
Additionally, if your company participates in a workplace giving program/employee matching offer (i.e. United Way or Combined Federal Charities), please designate Orchard House Medical Adult Day Center as your charity of choice.

Volunteer at Orchard House
Volunteers are an integral part of our mission. Whether you have one hour per week or more, we welcome your community efforts. We are always looking for volunteers to engage with our members in the areas of their interest – or yours. Contact Joyce our Recreation Director for more information. 203-481-7110.

Set up games, keep score, and cheer us on!
Wii Sports
Play various games with a small group, great fun!
Bingo
Set up prizes (men’s items, toiletries, jewelry, and stuffed animals), call out numbers, and assist our members with their cards.
Sing-a-longs/Karaoke/Entertainment
Sing, dance, and encourage everyone to join in!
Arts & Crafts
Arts of all kinds! Assist our staff or share your talents.
Exercises/Tai Chi/Yoga
Help inspire our members to keep it moving!!
Reading
Read short stories/poems or look at pictures and art, one-on-one or in small groups.

Sharing recipes, trying them out with the group!

Take our ambulatory members out for a stroll through our beautiful Short Beach gardens.
