Play checkers and cards with the clients. Move checkers for clients, if need be, and assist with cards if needed.

Assist with exercises by showing the clients the movements to music.
Setting up wood, sanding the wood with the clients, and aiding them with painting the wood.
Reading the clients short stories and poetry in small groups (high functioning group and low functioning group). Retrieving materials, for reading and discussion, from the library.
Speaking with the clients about events in the daily news and world news. Keeping subject matter light.

Help clients with the computer, news on the internet, playing games, and making greeting cards.
Working with clients and children on a variety of activities.
Walk outdoors in the garden with clients that are fully independent, as far as, ambulating is concerned.
Talking to just one client about different interests that they have.
Belly dancer, piano player, joke teller, etc.
Working with volunteers who are certified in pet therapy (dogs, cats, and other animals).
