Orchard House is a nonprofit organization that serves aging adults and their families. Our goal is to keep adults living independently, in the community, for as long as possible. Clients receive medical monitoring, therapeutic and social services in a stimulating and friendly environment that promotes health and emotional well-being.

 For 30 years, our staff has offered personalized care plans to meet each client's social and nursing needs, including plans for clients with cardiac ailments, diabetes, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and other dementia and neurological disorders. Counseling, education and respite services are also provided to families and other caregivers who have the responsibility for a loved one who needs assistance during the day, but does not require 24-hour institutional care. Each day includes fun and engaging activities and social opportunities suitable for each client’s personal needs and goals. We offer a nutritious hot lunch daily and free transportation.

 Our Mission

To restore, maintain or improve our clients' abilities and enhance their quality of life by providing a home-like setting that encourages independence and friendship and to provide respite to families and caregivers.

Who benefits from  Orchard House Adult Day Center? 

1. Older adults living alone who desire companionship.

2. Those living with a chronic illness and who would benefit from nursing supervision.

3. Individuals with physical/cognitive limitation & require assistance with meal preparation and other activities of daily living.

4. Aging adults who want to remain active among their peers and culturally and recreationally stimulated.

5. Spouses and family caregivers who need respite
